What an absolute pleasure to meet you. I am Lauren Olson: Copywriter.

I currently live in Portland, Oregon where I was born. However, in the spirit of full disclosure and getting to know each other, I should mention that between my birth-time and the now-time I spent a total of 13 years living in NYC and LA where I was Formerly Known As (FKA) - Lauren Olson: Improviser, Lauren Olson: Sketch and Character Comedy Writer and Performer, Lauren Olson: Producer, Lauren Olson: Voiceover Actor.

I have also been FKA other stuff like Lauren Olson: Financial Analyst, Lauren Olson: Executive Assistant, Lauren Olson: Kosher Steakhouse Waitress or Lauren Olson: Art Camp Counselor…but these are less relevant to the purpose of this website.

I returned to Portland in 2018 and started doing things adjacent to, and overlapping with, the skillsets (writing, performing and producing comedy) which I honed on the streets (and stages) of NYC and LA - though now it’s through the lens of advertising. At one point I was named Ad Age Small Agency Awards Creative of the Year with my creative partner Nate Corrado. There’s more to be said about this, but I’m attempting to keep it tight. (How do you think I did?)

Personality-wise, I am a laugh-making, mood-lightening, super-scrappy, confidently-collaborating, fun-time people-person with a delightfully-dynamic dark-side.
